RotoCraft Kayaks Limited Warranty

Product Registration
To activate warranty coverage, the original purchaser must register their kayak within 30 days of purchase. Registration can be completed online through the RotoCraft
website.

Product registration allows us to verify ownership and provide faster assistance with
warranty service, replacement parts, and technical support. When contacting customer service, please have the following information available:

  • Model name
  • Serial number
  • Date of purchase
  • Proof of purchase

Failure to register within the required period may limit warranty eligibility.


Warranty Coverage
RotoCraft kayaks are manufactured using high-quality materials and are designed for recreational use. When properly used and maintained, they are expected to provide years of reliable service.

This limited warranty applies only to the original purchaser and cannot be transferred to subsequent owners.


Hull & Deck Warranty
The hull and deck structure of RotoCraft kayaks are warranted against defects in materials and manufacturing according to the following schedule:


Time From Purchase  |  Coverage

Years 1–3: Full replacement or repair at RotoCraft’s discretion

Years 4–7: Pro-rated replacement credit toward a new kayak

Under pro-rated coverage, RotoCraft may offer a replacement discount or credit based on the age of the kayak rather than full replacement.
This warranty applies only to manufacturing defects and does not cover damage caused by misuse, impact, or improper storage.


Parts and Accessories
Factory-installed components including seats, rudders, pedals, hardware, and other accessories are covered for one (1) year from the date of purchase against defects in materials or workmanship.

Electrical components or optional accessories may carry separate manufacturer warranties.


Shipping and Delivery Inspection
Customers must inspect their kayak immediately upon delivery.
Any damage related to shipping must be reported within 48 hours of delivery by contacting RotoCraft Customer Support and providing photos of the damage and packaging.

Failure to report shipping damage within this timeframe may result in the claim being denied.


What Is Not Covered
This warranty does not cover damage or defects resulting from:

  • Commercial or rental use
  • Improper transportation or storage
  • Accidents, collisions, or impact damage
  • Exposure to extreme heat or environmental conditions
  • Unauthorized modifications, drilling, or structural changes
  • Repairs performed by anyone not authorized by RotoCraft
  • Cosmetic changes, including fading, discoloration, scratches, or surface wear
  • Normal wear and tear from regular use

Damage resulting from dragging the kayak over rough surfaces, improper roof rack installation, or overloading beyond the recommended weight capacity is also excluded.


Warranty Service Procedure
Before returning any product or component, the owner must first obtain a Return Authorization (RA) number from RotoCraft Customer Service.
Warranty service may require inspection of the product either:

  • At an authorized RotoCraft service location, or
  • At a repair facility designated by RotoCraft


At our discretion, customers may be asked to provide photographs or return specific components for inspection.Products returned without an authorization number may be refused.


Shipping and Transportation
Customers are responsible for all shipping or transportation costs associated with sending products for inspection or repair. RotoCraft Kayaks is not responsible for:

  • Damage incurred during shipping
  • Storage or handling fees
  • Travel costs
  • Loss of use
  • Lost time or inconvenience during the repair process

Limitation of Liability
This limited warranty represents the sole warranty provided by RotoCraft Kayaks. Except as expressly stated above, RotoCraft disclaims all other warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.

RotoCraft Kayaks shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use the product. Some states do not allow limitations on implied warranties or the exclusion of certain damages. In such cases, the above limitations may not apply.

This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have additional rights that vary by state.
